Ok here are some pictures of my baby as she is right now. In the next couple of weeks I will be adding a KX3, QD scope riser, and some rail covers. Enjoy!  grin

Nice Gunfighter.

Took me awhile to figure it out, but for the loudest setting for the KX3 is to take the O-ring out and match the holes up. Best sounding setting too.

I wish I didnt put an M120 in mine, so far I have broken the motor contacts, the bolt, the tappet plate,
the spur gear (1 tooth missing) and the sector gear...(5 teeth missing)....

All pretty easy fixes I just haven't gotten around to buying the Items needed,
so lesson learned stick with the stock spring until you upgrade the gears, also
the blowack system is fragile, be careful

although, I love that gun to death, BTW when you get it, mind telling me what serial number you have....
I got #87

There are any number of reasons why these gears failed.  No reason they failed because of the spring, most likely, and I mean no offense, lack of experience in a gearbox.  In my learning days I broke a fair number of gears but from wear and tear.  I can guarentee that if you do everything correct those gears will pull, and easily might I add, an M130 without any issues.

Hey, I'm getting better cheesy, and maybe it was the fact of the G&P motor on a 10.8v....little fast for it?

anything over a 9.6v is too fast.  I think so anyway.  I have used Li-po batteries before and after using the 11.1 and reading on the stress I switched to a 7.4v which is about the output of an 9.6v and if the gearbox was not shimmed correctly or was some sort of assembly error as whiskey stated...a 10.8v would shred all of the above.
