Welcome.

Scheels & Walmart have airsoft guns but they are not very good quality items.  The money you spend on them will be wasted.

There is an online vendor who lives in Lincoln - http://www.midwestairsoft.biz/index.php - and the owner (Jim W) can be emailed at Jim@midwestairsoft.biz.  You can contact him and see if he can get you what you want.  While I have never dealt with him, people here on the forums say he can cut a nice deal.

Jim at MidwestAirsoft is a treat to deal with.  He should be able to get you fixed right up.

are there any guns that you reccomend staying away from, because some of the guns on airsoft.com are only like twenty dollars and some of the guns that i am looking at are alot more than that. any  help in deciding would be great

I'm pretty new to Airsoft myself, so anything I say should be taken with a grain of salt. But what I've experience with Airsoft so far is that, if you want a nice, reliable rifle, you're going to have to spend AT LEAST $200. And you'll want to gravitate towards brands who have already established a good reputation, brands like ICS (My choice), Custom Army, and Tokyo Marui just to name a few.

I agree with Lucas (I personally don't own a gun), but going by what other people say, stay away from Cyma, and go with a high grade gun like a CA or TM
Note: I think Lucas means Classic Army, not Custom... not %100 sure though

Hello Yellow ,  You should check this site out, WWW.wgcshop.com and you can see about anything you might want or like !  and then I would try to buy the things you prefer here in the states.!  over seas rapes you on shipping cost!!.   the key is to save probly about $300... and get the style gun that makes you happy!!  whatever you like!  ask alot of questions  about different guns and gear! there are alot of people here who will help you !and every one will tell you about the different guns and how they will perform for you ! myself I like the Classic Army guns  they hold up real good without  having to upgrade them . tokyo marui are probly the most common guns  they are good also and parts are plentiful for them !  G&G makes good guns but can be  little pricy!  ICS  are ok ,  probly my least favorite but  like I said Its about you ! dont be afraid to ask a lot of questions   !!  welcome to the GOAA !  Spaulding ! Jim at midwestairsoft.biz  is  the bomb!!

Whoops, you're right mharm, I meant Classic Army. I just ordered a bracket for my camera that is made by Custom Brackets, so that word was on my mind.

I second the KWA recommendation. They're nice guns, but spare magazines are a little expensive. But I guess most GBB guns are.

Is that the CYMA CM030?  I just bought one of those from Jim today at his personal recommendation.  I test fired his in his backyard for a bit and it seems like something I'll be pleased with. ..
