witch i like but not quite as much just because im not sure about how accurate it would be outside of my yard. like at longer range foresty areas
Hey Breno
I know you're new so I'm not being an ass here but your "longer range forest areas" is a statement filled with errors.
First off like Derek stated buy an aeg that fits your personal style.
Second most of your stock aeg all perform close to the same with an accurate range of 50 to 70 feet, you will find out that you can usual adjust your aim or your hop up and get a 100.
Third your forest areas during spring summer and early fall are not long rage areas. Remember it's a forest with lots of trees and shrubs and the like which are the perfect little bb blockers not to mention if they are full of foliage they're close to a form of light cover. So your average range in the forest area that GOAA usual plays in the long shots are going to be in the 50 to 70 foot range and that's pushing it. That's perfect for a stock AEG.
Stock AEGs are very capable of competing in the skirmishes in the local area. Now if you step up to maybe a national event or even an area with more open fields then a stock AEG may have a slight disadvantage. Then again a good solid player who works well with a team wont have any worries.
Actually an AEG with a good hop up can do wonders for increasing range. Such as the TM AK family, I own a TM Spetz and a CA SPC. The SPC is my favorite it's slightly upgraded, but the hop up for the M16 types is not very well done. My spetz on the other hand has an awesome hop up system and I can get the bb's to hang longer in the air before they nose dive, the hop up comes stock. I still love my CA SPC.
