I know I am gonna sound stupid and I know its probably out there but I am a newbie and need some help. I am 13 (14 in September) I wanna know were I get the waivers for the events. I have read the rules and guides and understand I will need mom or dad. There both supportive in what I do, but this is dads side. Heck he'll probably do it with me. But if I can get a link to the waivers that would be great.

One other thing I found a website called evike.com and was wondering if it was any good? I was looking at getting this gun  http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_215&products_id=28647 after I get the money but first start off with a cheap P-90 buy Well (amazon.com) so I can try at least one game this summer. If you think theres a better cheap beginner gun I would love the link.

So if you have the time and your a kind hearted person, waiver link and review of Evike and the AK.

Madcow Waiver:

Waiver for most everywhere else:

General consensus of evike is decent, but they don't update when an item is out of stock, and their customer service isn't anything to write home about. I would suggest http://www.kapowwe.com or http://www.airsoftgi.com instead.  Kapowwe's selection is smaller than ASGI's, but ships faster because they are located in TX, with ASGI in CA (i think) and ASGI's customer service is generally excellent, though they recently have had a few issues with incorrect items being sent.

The AK should do very nicely, ECHO 1 makes some decent stuff. You may also want to check out JG, because they are rebrands of ECHO 1 guns, and are cheaper. One issue you run the risk of running into with JG is they have issues with some of their guns shooting hot (above 400 fps, the limit for our fields) so you would have to buy a weaker spring for it (and have someone else install it for you, if you aren't mechanically inclined) to get it to field limits. You may still get one doesn't shoot hot though, it is something like 1 out of 3 have the problem.

I would strongly suggest NOT getting the WELL P90, because WELL makes some pretty crummy stuff. Just save your money for the AK and borrow a gun as is necessary.

Welcome aboard.

Evike.com:
I buy most of my gear from them and have had no real problems until recently, but thats just a preorder taking forever.
Their customer service is fairly decent and respond to emailed questions within 24 hours on most occasions. Their shipping is great. (at least for my orders)
They have a free shipping coupon if your order is over $100 (FREESHIP)

Overall they arent the best but are good for most items, but it always helps to search around before ordering online as you never know what kind of deals you can find somewhere else.
I'm not the greatest on reviewing an AEG so I will leave that to someone with more experience than I.

Also its better that you ask your questions now, you might feel stupid for asking but you will be much better off.

Some guys will rent out guns at the games if that's what your asking.  I think mryle (sorry if I got the name wrong) rents out guns, mags, and BB's for the day at a good price. (15$ or something like that.)

As for the AK I think it is a good option.  I would say that  CYMA makes a good AK for a lower price, but I haven't had the chance to compare quality. (Me being pretty new myself)

I would recommend www.airsoftgi.com as a guns and gear site.  They run a good operation there.

If you want to get the CYMA, there is a deal on http://www.tacticaltrunkmonkey.com/ for everything you will need (rifle, mag, battery and charger, and a cheap sling that I wouldn't suggest using as it is probably a very cheap sling) to get started for $100 with free shipping. The sale changes daily, so if you want it you better hurry.

Yes but you must buy at least $100, just worth noting. That's their minimum sales price.

The Well P90 would be far worse than just walking around throwing bb's at people.  There are some clone guns you can get for under $150 that would be good for the money.  In airsoft you really do get what you pay for...

You could always come out to a game and rent a gun from someone, get the feel for it, check out other people's guns, then you can really make a choice.  95% of people out on the field would have no problem letting you hold, see, or even shoot their guns.

Best of luck.
