An intersting book....

Well I just recently purchased a book call "Infantry Rifle Platoon and Squad" also know as FM7-8.  Well this book seems to be full of good info so far.  I haven't read much of it yet but I definitely think it will be good for airsoft battles.

If you have read this book let me know if you feel that I should continue to read it and if it would help for airsoft battles?

It is definitely worth looking through. It'll give you some good maneuver ideas. Remember that we are battling on a smaller scale than the FM defines. Weapon ranges obviously aren't as great. So, you'll have to think through a smaller more intimate field/maneuver plan. Be sure to check out the the battle drills in chapter 4.  You may also find the sections on ambush applicable.
