Long time gentlemen, but age and a misspent youth has caught up with me.  Another stroke, and a TIA later, plus having to go back and forth to NY for new home inheirited, has put my airsoft days behind me.  I am thinking of a sale of all my stuff since it would be a shame to let it sit in the basement unused.  My new 'hobby' is as a 'living hisory' re-enactor.  Dug out all my old Civil War weaponry, 1858 .44 Army, 1860 .44 Army, 1860 .44 Confederate, cap and ball pistols, and my 1861 .58 Rifled Musket, 1861 .58 Cook and Brother Musketoon, and my pride my 1863 .54 Sharps carbine, as well as uniforms and equipment.  Will be doing the circuit both here and in NY as a 'living history' charactor, demonstrating and answering questions of the era.

1st Regiment Nebraska 'Volunteer' Cavalry here and 5th New York Cavalry in NY.  Momma and I will be costumed and do the whole weekend thing, era cooking and camp regiments, just something me and momma can do together in my waning years, still disabled can not 'work', and have surgury Apr 20 in NY to hopefully correct the issues with my legs and blood clotting.

So keep watch, If I do decide on a sale, you guys get first pickings.

Very cool Oldsoldier I had recently taken up Civil War Re-enacting with the 1st Nebraska aswell. Although im still starting and have no equipment yet, we just had two of the Re-enactors i met at an event come to my school and talk to our American Experience class. Altough ive only been to one event, I plan on attenting much more over the next few years.

Good luck, Oldsoldier.  Thank you for what you did for your country, and for what you tought everyone here.  I had hopes to meet you in person some time, but oh well.

Once again, thank you.
