Crazy thats not my point, taking a hit is one thing, but taking those 10+ bb's to the face is an enitre other, or for that fact, to the hand or any other exposed skin. I highly encourage you to play a game with no MED's, I can assure you, 280 FPS feels like 400+ at point blank to the knuckle. I enjoy this game alot, but excessive pain in something that is a hobby for me, is another entire ball game...
I happen to know someone who's sepciality is guns that shoot at high ROF, most of them where influenced by a company who's premise was high ROF guns for CQB... I think it's uncurteous and, to be honest, excessive, for one of his guns (38 RPS...) to be used in CQB... there is no need to dump 38 rounds in one second, none at all...

Ryan the store owner of Disruptive in Tucson had a KWA m4 that shot 38+ bbs a second. This was of course with a LiPo and seriously...this thing was accurate. You better call hit before you got hit by seeing those bbs because by the time he saw you and pulled a trigger, that hit you call will be followed up but many more bbs.

Which is why I avoided Tuscon games like the bubonic plague... lots of Hi ROF people in Tuscon... the valley seemed a bit more my style of play... not to mention, a 2 hour badass drive was totally better than a 2 hour kickass drive followed by 2.5 hours of pure boredom, Nebraska style...

Yay! I might actually be able to see the other team!   Rules ideas: 330 FPS or under. No MED, but safety kills to be nice/ avoid unnecessary pain. Full seal goggles required. Full auto allowed. I look at it this way, I first got into airsoft for MilSim purposes, and no Military Doctrine that I know of, much less the US ARMY in Vietnam, My current load out, told/tells its soldiers not to use full auto in CQB. As long as people keep their FPS and ROF to decent levels, I see no reason to ban full auto. In addition, WHY aim for the head!?! It is a smaller target, and there for harder to hit. Someone please explain? |
