Hell Yeah we'll be there
No, they wont let you in because they're scared of your FPS. This OP has a 1.5 joule limit, just like GOAA.

they aren't scared....you guys are the only ones that are

It is a shame that there are rules and standards in this sport that you gentleman seem to think you are above.  From the Lion Claws events to other major sponsored events across the country the below 400fps is the standard based on a universaly accepted safety standard that you think does not apply to you and yours.

You can play as you wish among your group, but if and when you decide to play at others fields you must abide by the safety standards the organizers decide is the safety standard.

If a AN member decides to play on your fields with your rules, that is his choice, if you decide to play at a AN event or another event held by any other organization the rules as stated on fps will be enforced.

I do believe if I used my Marushin 8mm K98 Maxi with gas opened up to 450fps you would not be as brave, considering a .45acp light load moves at 700fps.  Believe me a .45g 8mm movin at 450fps will break skin and will imbed itself in skin, has killed a woodchuck or two at 25yards.

So be a little realilistic and stop trying to be the exception to the standards.

Lion Claws FPS ruleset:http://www.oplionclaws.com/fieldcombatrules.php

3.1 CHRONO AND VELOCITY/ENERGY LIMITS

3.1.1 Velocity reducers are NOT allowed.

3.1.2 Players should report to the chrono station with an empty mag for each weapon. The Chrono staff member will insert the testing BBs in the empty mag.

REGULAR CHRONO

3.1.3 All non-sniper weapons will be chronographed using EXCEL .25 gram NON-BIO BBs.

OK < 366 fps Caution 366-376 fps NO GO > 376 fps

SNIPER CHRONO 3.1.4 All sniper weapons will be chronographed using .34 gram BBs (8mm) or .36 gram BBs. Using .34g (8mm) BBs: OK < 448 fps Caution 448 - 460 fps NO GO > 460 fps

Using .36 gram BBs. OK < 436 fps Caution 436 - 447fps NO GO > 447 fps

3.1.5 If a gun fires in the NO GO range, the Chrono Marshall will immediately check the weapon. If he duplicates the NO GO FPS, the Airsoft weapon will immediately be red tagged.

3.1.6 A red-tagged gun has three options:

a. The player leaves the AO with the Airsoft weapon.

b. The player tunes the weapon to below Caution spec and re-chronos the gun.

c. The Airsoft weapon is locked in the event secure storage and returned at the end of the event.

3.1.7 All Airsoft weapons are subject to staff spot checks throughout the event.

omg, have none of you read are fricken posts?

all our guns that are AEG are at 400 fps or below....we just say that they are 400fps is because that is what the box says....we know that the spring eventually breaks in and the speed is below 400fps....and if are guns are at 400fps....that is the limit that they say so oh hey guess what we are able to play.  plus they don't making any AEG gun stock above 400fps, so i think anyone who buys any gun without modding can play thats why companies don't go above.  they know the rules that are set in organizations.  and plus we aren't stupid and we abide by rules that why WE ARE GOING

oh and thanks for posting the rules again, especially when we have already read them on the forum it came off of

So, why don't you ever come to a AN game, if you don't mind wearing camo and have guns that meet our velocity limits?

Vector,

I think his sig line paints the picture best.
Cub and Shorty really like the "Take it like a man" thing.
They are itching to light them up, and run them into the ground.
Hope they don't smoke, or drink carbonated sodas.
The girls will burn them out in an hour of shoot and flank.
Let you know how they do at OP:Pheonix.
I'll put my money on the Gower boys owning the place.
The girls give Ripper and I a flanking speed option they don"t have.
The SLAP squad is a possible spoiler, with several good shooters.

blah blah blah... "plus they don't making any AEG gun stock above 400fps" ...blah blah blah

Well thats a great assumption, my Echo 1 MP5-A4 came out of the box hitting nearly 415-440 FPS. But that can't be true "cause the box said it was 400 FPS", that must mean that it is! OMG!!! I changed the spring out for nothing!

Also I was at Canfield's the other day and I held the "Sturmgewehr" MP44 full-metal AEG they just got in to sample. Guess what? The box says that it shoots 530 FPS, though every site I've seen it for sale on puts it in the 400+ range.

I didn't think everyone on your team could be as arrogant as the "leader"(TeamTaken). Guess I was wrong.  shocked

On topic, this event looks awesome! Don't think I'll be able to make it, gotta pay the bills and pretty sure that I can't have that day off.

and we never said that the box was true im just saying that that is what we put because i have gotten ppl telling me yeah right there is no way they shoot that fast.

On another note, what is "acrossed" supposed to mean?

Just ordered 3 batteries, 2 bags of BB's and a smart charger.

That will give each of us 15K BB's and 2 AEG's for this run.

Now I need MAGS, MAGS, and more MAGS.

Bubba thanks for the confidence, WE will  have a speed option also. and we may have few surprizes also,Remember we are going to have fun and are looking foward to this event. I do caution Team Taken to know exactly how fast their guns chrono ahead of time,Tis far better to know and not worry ,than worry and not know.
